When you have your link on another web site, it improves your page rank in search engines and when your page rank improves, your site will be listed higher for its search terms. Use a submission program to submit your web site to hundreds of search engines and links pages at once! We’ve been doing this for a long time with our web pages and it works very well, not only for click through traffic, but also for search engine ranking.

Search engine submission software ranges from free to quite pricey. You can pay another company to do it or you can do it yourself. You can do it online or download software and use it on your computer. One of the best free online ones is Addme.com. The Global Positioning Submitter was an excellent program for purchase, but now it's only offered for free (and they only offer 100 different submission sites instead of 800).
